Mr. Nand Lal Kalra

Mr. Nand Lal Kalra is a Bachelor of Science from Kurukshetra University (Gold Medalist), Master of Science from Panjab University and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Jodhpur University. Mr. Kalra is a former member of the Indian Revenue Service with over 36 years of public service, culminating in his appointment as Accountant Member of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT). During his tenure at the ITAT, he adjudicated complex direct tax matters involving corporate taxation, statutory interpretation and regulatory compliance. His professional career reflects extensive experience in financial oversight, governance, taxation, regulatory interpretation and public administration.

Following his public service, Mr. Kalra has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited, a listed company, where he chaired the Audit Committee and served on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and Risk Management Committee. His Board experience in a listed company has further strengthened his expertise in corporate governance, financial reporting, risk management, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
